Our Leadership Team

Travis Burkett

Lead Pastor/Elder

Travis has been leading as our Lead Pastor since March 2022. Travis graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Theology with a focus on Church Ministry in 2015. He spent the first 9 years in Student Ministries before coming to our staff at Village. Travis & Tesslyn were married in January 2015. They have two daughters, Acelyn & Lola. You can find Travis around campus, with his family, or on the golf course.

Brett Harper

Youth & Young Adult Pastor/Elder

Brett has been serving as Village’s Youth and Young Adult Pastor since May 2019. He graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Music Education. Brett & Jenny were married in October 2024. His main focus at Village is pouring into our students and young adults. Brett currently runs youth group and The Well, our young adult ministry. He is also involved in church planning and direction. You can find Brett playing guitar on stage on Sunday or reading in a coffee shop during the week!
