New Sermon Series on Daniel Begins This Sunday, November 8th.

Daniel 2Things in the world are happening and changing incredibly  fast.  And things in our own country seem to be changing even faster.  I feel like there is so much “stuff” that all of us need to know as we face the future. I am convinced that the greatest place in the world to learn how to face the future is found in God’s Word, the Bible.

With all of that in mind, I have decided to begin a new study this Sunday Morning in the Book of Daniel.  My goal is to focus as much as I can on the teenagers in our church.  Our teenagers today are facing a very complicated, dangerous, often confusing but also exciting time in the world.

Daniel is about 16 years old when we begin to unpack the Book of Daniel. Throughout the book we see him walk through the same “stuff” our teenagers are facing today.  It happened 2,500 years ago, but is so similar to the choices and challenges they encounter in 2015.

This new Sermon Series starts November 8th, 2015.  10am.

Hello, I talked to you once on the telephone about the church.  Kara and Jim Speckman are my friends.  I was wondering if your wife still taught the Tuesday Bible Class and the subject matter.  I had hip replacement on April 29th. and still have problems walking and getting up from a seat.  What kind of seats do you have in the sanctuary?  Are they pews, folding chairs or what?  Please let me know.  I am still thinking about coming to your church!  God Bless You.

Yes, Kathleen Dalton teaches a Tuesday Bible Study at 1pm every week. They are studying the book of Luke, and just finished chapter 11. They would be very pleased to have you check out the Bible Study to see if it is a good fit for you. It meets in the church coffee bar, which has padded seats, and they sit around tables. The coffee bar is located right next to the main entrance of the church, so it is not a long walk, and you don’t have to climb any stairs.

We would love to see you in church on Sunday mornings, too. We sit in metal folding chairs, with optional seat cushions for those who choose to use them. If a padded chair like the ones in the coffee bar is easier to you, one can be easily moved into the worship center.

Please do visit us whenever you can – we’d love to see you!
