When we launch Village Bible on July 15th, we will also be launching into our study of the book of Galatians. My hope and prayer is that all of us will be blown away with the message of the Gospel not only for our eternal salvation…but also for our every-day lives.
Today I have been camping on the thought that “God’s plan for salvation was determined before He created the world.
When God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit in perfect unity said to each other, “Let us make man in our image” (Genesis 1:26), the cross of Christ was already in view.
I love to remind myself of John 10:18, where Jesus says, “No one takes My life from Me. I lay it down.” Remember the garden? Jesus is there with His disciples. Judas walks up to Him and places a kiss on His cheek. Peter pulls out his sword and tries to fight the high priest’s guards. Peter cuts off the guard’s ear. Jesus heals the guard…and…the guard arrests Him anyway!
Wow! Now that’s a bunch of stuff to think about. The cross was in already in view…
